Bisimwa Bangere Charly
Bukavu, Democratic Republic of Congo

I am a 15-year-old boy from the Democratic Republic of Congo, born in the city of Bukavu on October 17, 2009. I currently live in Goma, specifically in the Karisimbi district, Kasika neighborhood, on AV Mulige N 14. At the moment, I am in my first year of Electrical studies at Youth Inspirations Academy, after completing my primary education at Tupendane School in Bukavu. In my quest for an independent future, I am also pursuing photography training at Lens on Life/CAMME RDC, and I continue my studies with the hope of a brighter future.

I had a difficult childhood, including a time when our house caught fire, a memory I consider one of the most bitter moments of my life. Despite these challenges, I have developed a passion for photography. My interest in this field grew when a friend from the previous photography cohort encouraged me to take the course, and over time, I have come to love this noble profession. Having faced many hardships in my family, I have been motivated to learn various skills to help combat unemployment. While I now have some experience in photography and feel capable of capturing certain images, I am eager to continue learning and aspire to become a professional photographer in the future.
