Aristote Bahimi King
Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo

I am Aristote Bahimi King, A Congolese national, Born on June 22 in an unspecified year. I am the son of farmer John Bahizi and mother Basubi Baby. The environment has always been my refuge, a place where I go to relax and reflect. I am passionate about the web, animation, and photography. This passion began at my church, the Church of God, where I was moved by the photos taken by a close friend and brother. Inspired, I took the initiative and courage to teach myself photography.

Today, I am a student at Lens on Life/CAMME, hoping to receive better professional training. I believe I can live my dream with the support of Lens on Life, and I truly hope for this opportunity. I am someone who shows compassion for marginalized people, is creative, and loyal to those who love and support me.

This photo is taken in the office of Dynamique des Femmes Juristes (DFJ), where the commitment to survivors of rape, gender-based violence, and discrimination remain strong. In this room, victims await an appointment with a DFJ lawyer who can help them with their case.
