Join us for Still I Rise, a photography exhibition celebrating the vision and creativity of seven young artists from across New York City.

Over the past 8 months, these emerging photographers have worked with Lens on Life and the Youth Justice Network at our South Bronx location, using the camera as a tool of self-expression, discovery, and growth. Through art, they channel courage, discipline, and imagination — rising above obstacles and shaping their own narratives with intention and power.

Despite the unjust hurdles of incarceration and homelessness, their work is not defined by hardship — it is defined by brilliance, resilience, and voice. Each image tells a story of strength and becoming — moments of quiet reflection, adolescence, and unfiltered humanity. Together, their work reminds us that growth should not be defined by what we face, but by how we rise.

All works will be available for purchase, with 100% of proceeds going directly to the artists.
