At Youth Inspiration Academy, I had the opportunity to participate in a photography training through the Canon program, run by CAMME RDC in collaboration with Lens on Life. I’m passionate about learning, and I believe this training will help me both now and in the future. For me, learning is a priority.I am convinced that with photography, I can contribute to my country’s development by reducing unemployment. I see photography as a potential profession that can help me become an independent, valuable young woman in my community.
Among the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, I chose Gender Equality.
Gender Equality is the equal treatment of men and women, based on the absence of discrimination related to gender. It is not only a fundamental human right but also an essential foundation for a peaceful world. Gender equality is vital for building peaceful societies with full human potential and sustainable development. Studies have shown that when women are empowered, there is an increase in productivity and economic growth. This goal aims to achieve gender equality and the empowerment of women. While gender inequality has decreased in some countries in recent years, women still face discrimination and violence. This goal focuses on ensuring women's access to education, healthcare, quality work, and political representation.
